I built Atlas because I wanted an assistant that lived on my machine, not in someone else's data center — something that could open apps, drive my browser, and manage my files directly instead of just talking about it. It reads my calendar, drafts and sends email, and pulls in Gemini or Claude when a question calls for deeper reasoning or a longer document than it should handle alone.

Drives your computer, not just your chat window

Opens applications, controls your browser, searches the web, and navigates pages on command — Atlas acts on your machine instead of describing what you should click.

02 · FILES

Reads, writes, and runs

Creates files and folders, generates code in Python, JavaScript, HTML and more, reads and summarizes PDFs, runs scripts, and manages your workspace directly.

03 · REACH

Follows you to your phone

Runs on Android and can send complex commands back to your computer — start a task from your desk, check on it from your pocket.

04 · SIGHT

Sees through your webcam

When enabled, Atlas can look at what's in front of it, identify objects, read text, and answer questions about what's in view.

05 · REASONING

Calls in bigger models when it matters

Routes to Gemini for real-time information and long document analysis, or Claude for complex reasoning and large codebases — your choice of which to enable.

06 · CALENDAR + EMAIL

Handles your calendar and inbox

Optional integrations let Atlas check and manage your Google Calendar, and read and send email through Gmail — on your say-so, nothing automatic.

07 · OPEN

Open source

Free, no account required. Pick your platform.

LINUX SETUP
1. Unzip Atlas-linux.zip
2. Run ./install.sh once — this creates a desktop launcher
3. Double-click Atlas.desktop to launch (choose "Allow Launching" if prompted)
4. Requires Ollama installed locally with the phi3:mini model pulled

ANDROID SETUP
1. Enable "install from unknown sources" on your device
2. Install Atlas.apk
3. Requires the desktop version running on your computer — the Android app is a remote client that sends commands to Atlas on your machine, it doesn't run standalone
4. Make sure both devices are on the same network to connect

Downloads in 3 parts — allow multiple downloads if your browser asks. Unzip with zip -F Atlas-linux-split.zip --out Atlas-linux-full.zip, then run ./install.sh. Requires Ollama running locally with phi3:mini pulled.

Unzip, run ./install.sh once to create a launcher, then double-click Atlas. Requires Ollama running locally with the phi3:mini model pulled.
